The ERP/SIS Project Manager will oversee the implementation, integration, and optimization of an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Student Information System (SIS) tailored to meet institutional needs. The Project Manager will coordinate cross-functional teams (including third party consultants), ensuring seamless communication, adherence to timelines, and achievement of project goals. They will be responsible for project operational management and delivering a robust, user-friendly system that enhances institutional operations and user experience. The duration of the project will be approximately four years.
As the Project Manager, you will:
Project Planning & Execution: Lead the development of comprehensive project plans, clearly outlining each phase, key deliverables, timelines, resources, and risk mitigation strategies. Ensure that all project milestones and deliverables are met on time, within budget, and within scope. Act as the primary liaison between the college and ERP/SIS vendors, ensuring transparent and proactive communication, timely delivery, thorough documentation of decisions, and strict adherence to agreed-upon terms and timelines.
Risk Management: Proactively identify and assess potential project risks, developing robust contingency plans to mitigate them. Conduct ongoing risk assessments throughout the project lifecycle to preemptively address emerging issues and keep the project trajectory on course. Example: scope creep or timeline misses.
Stakeholder Management: Facilitate cross-functional collaboration with ITS leadership and functional experts (HR, Finance, etc). functional department heads and end-users to gather requirements, set expectations, and ensure their needs are integrated seamlessly into the project. Engage with stakeholders across finance, operations, human resources, student services, and IT to support smooth ERP/SIS system migration, ensuring alignment with existing workflows and minimizing operational disruptions.
Change Management: Design and implement a comprehensive change management plan that includes targeted training programs and effective communication strategies to drive user adoption and minimize resistance to the ERP/SIS system. Work closely with stakeholders to promote a positive user experience, reducing friction and fostering a culture of adaptability as the new system is integrated.
Quality Assurance: Drive high standards for quality throughout the migration process by coordinating thorough testing at each phase (functional, technical, UAT). Collaborate closely with technical teams to identify and address issues promptly, ensuring that any problems are resolved before the go-live stage.
Post-Migration Support: Lead post-migration support efforts, overseeing troubleshooting, system optimization, issue tracking, and the collection of user feedback. Ensure a smooth handoff to the operations team for long-term support and maintenance. Finalize all project documentation, including requirements, system design, process changes, training materials, and a post-implementation support plan to solidify a successful project closure.
YOUR COMPENSATION
New hires are typically brought into the organization at a salary between the range minimum and the salary range midpoint depending on qualifications, internal equity, and the budgeted amount for the role.
This is an exempt position and the starting salary range for this position is $79,000 annually. Compensation will be commensurate with years of relevant experience.

Experience and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree preferred with 4+ years’ experience in Project Management implementation process.
Required Experience and abilities
Significant and demonstrated ability to analyze complex technical problems and implement solutions requiring computer programming and database management.
Ability to complete assigned tasks with speed and accuracy according to predetermined timelines and specifications.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with end users, including ability to communicate with non-technical colleagues.
Ability and inclination to engage effectively and collaboratively in team projects. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Expected to have or develop additional skills in higher education customer relationship management, enterprise resource planning, or human resource management systems, and to become proficient in the College’s current systems, integrated development environments, reporting tools and scripting languages.
Proven track record of successfully managing large, complex projects from initiation to completion.
Extensive knowledge of ERP/SIS systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday, etc.) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Strong understanding of data migration, system integration, and security considerations in cloud environments.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Experience in change management, including user training and support.
Experience with Agile or hybrid project management methodologies.
Familiarity with business process mapping and redesign in the context of ERP implementation.
Previous experience in working in higher education or similar sectors.
