The ERP Technical Developer is responsible for assisting with design, development, and implementation of strategic development architectures for Finance, Supply Chain and Human Resources within the ERP application. This includes an understanding of development methodologies, design, specifications, programming, delivery, monitoring, and support standards. Involved in strategic planning activities and researching emerging Internet technology, programming languages and tools, as well as e-business standards for use in effective existing or new enterprise application/systems.
Demonstrate knowledge and troubleshooting skills to program, design, develop, install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain ERP system. Provide support on basic features of application software.
Ensures API's, web services and services accounts are active and flowing. Ensures ERP has no pending error BODs that will ultimately slow down system performance. Validates BODs are not out of synch. Builds, supports, and maintains developed workflows while identifying new ways to reduce points of failure. Assists with implementing APIs when applicable.
Assists with installing, maintaining, and utilize a variety of automated tools and procedures to ensure high availability of ERP system, rapid correction of minor problems and avoidance of major problems.
Identify and manage basic technical problems and issues inside and outside of configuration expertise with ERP software. Utilize standard and ad-hoc procedures to perform first-level, resolution for system and job processing problems. Use designated software and other appropriate tools to track and report problem status and escalate to technical support, vendors, and management on a timely basis. Monitor assigned queues within designated ERP software to assure timely service to customers within given service level metrics. Participate in after-hours technical support to resolve issues in a timely manner.
Demonstrate strong customer service, communication and human relationship skills when dealing with customers, fellow associates, and vendors.
Produce required department reporting associated with support, projects and problems assigned, which includes status and problem documentation summary within the designated tool.
Follow established policies, procedures and standards defined by the department. Participate in the development and documentation of procedures for day-to-day tasks within assigned areas of support and maintenance, including the development of processes and procedures for other teams.
Demonstrate the ability to learn and support new technologies through e-learning, self-study, and peer training/studies.
Assist other ERP teams by providing first level support and guidance.
Focus on providing a friendly, courteous, and polite customer service experience always including rotating 24/7 on-call support. Contact vendors regarding service issues to receive support information or assistance as required. Assist users with optimizing the use of assigned applications set priorities, plans, and manages a diverse set of tasks.
May be required to travel to perform some job functions.
Perform other duties as assigned by management or designee.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or related field.
One-year related experience in technical development coding in Finance, Supply Chain Management, Human Resources, or Information Systems support preferred.
One-year development experience working in design, coding, and development preferred.
Knowledge of industry standard Web platforms (.Net/C#), Automation (RPA), API, Python, SQL, and HTML.
ERP Certifications preferred.
