Expected Starting Salary: 37.18 - 47.10 SUBFUNCTION DEFINITION: Responsible for gathering and organizing business data through an integrated software suite. Oversees applications that automate business functions.
REPRESENTATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES
Summary Exercise own judgment within the parameters of defined policies, procedures and practices with little to no guidance. Author and execute the testing/quality assurance needs of the enterprise business suite. Document testing outcomes. Demonstrate advanced knowledge through the ability to resolve complex issues. Demonstrate knowledge of disciplines beyond own area of specialty and remain up to date with leading edge developments. Participate in developing business solutions with moderate to high complexity. Responsible for business process designs, user guides, working closely with analysts to ensure technical documentation is consistent with business processes. Familiar with the development lifecycle. Support the communication between technical and business areas. Participate in developing project plans. Responsible for planning and execution of annual events. Work with cross-functional teams.
Configuration and Process Implement and maintain business processes with moderate to high complexity within the enterprise business application suite. Serve in a key role as part of a cross functional team to implement and validate application configuration solutions. Advanced knowledge of application and reporting tools, providing analysis and recommendation for the business area. Advanced knowledge of project management methodologies and application development lifecycle with the ability to lead annual events. Responsible for the creation and maintenance of documentation in support of enterprise business applications. Apply business theories, concepts, principles and techniques of the business areas to recommend and draft solutions for process improvement.
Production Support Provide support and resolution assistance for escalated production and process issues. Advanced troubleshooting and ability to decipher error messages. Identify required resources to resolve complex issues. Utilize appropriate Change Control methods to implement system solutions. Serve as a liaison between business areas and Information Services. Support departmental efforts to improve customer satisfaction. Evaluate and review recommendations for business process improvements. Design and execute appropriate plans for business process change. Review information from business systems analysts. Exercise good judgement and follow appropriate escalation procedures in accordance with information technology service level agreements.
Customer Service Ensure outstanding end-user support is provided, including ongoing monitoring of service level agreements for incident management and collaboration with other areas to ensure customer-centered support. Adhere to and promote continual adoption of change management policies and procedures. Model outstanding customer service behavior, including timely and effective follow-up with customers.
Miscellaneous Develop proficient knowledge and professional skills through cross-training, literature and attendance at department meetings and vendor education. Develop and maintain positive relationships, both internal and external to CCHMC. Motivate, provide guidance to team members and encourage teamwork. Work well with others and foster a positive team environment. Develop and deliver training objectives as necessary. Prepare and deliver oral and written presentations. Conduct and participate in instructional seminars. Develop expertise in several Cincinnati Children's computer-based systems.
Qualifications
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Required:
Bachelor's degree in a related field
5-7 years of work experience in a related job discipline
