Work you'll do/Responsibilities
Senior Solution Specialists work as technical leads within an engagement team and are not responsible for project management. Key responsibilities will include:
Identify business requirements, translating business requirements into functional and technical design, building prototypes, creating process design (including scenario design, flow mapping), leading testing and training activities, defining support procedures and SLAs and supporting implementations post go-live.
Oracle EPBCS Senior Specialist must be able to work in fast-paced environment by leading and delivering all the deliverable tasks on stipulated time period.
Our Finance & Enterprise Performance team works as a trusted advisor to CFOs, COOs, CIOs, and key executives. We advise, implement and deliver as-a-service solutions, helping our clients develop strategies and capabilities to support enterprise-wide decision-making, improve finance operations, and create impact within their organization.
Qualifications Required -4-6 years of Oracle EPBCS Cloud experience and around 6-8 years of experience in Hyperion planning suite -Sound knowledge on financial planning, workforce planning, Projects & grants planning, capital budgeting, and forecasting -Sound understanding of Budget Execution concepts, public sector planning and budgeting concepts and should have previous work experience on public sector budgeting -Full end-to-end implementation experience -Able to gather and document client requirements independently -Extensive hands-on experience in designing and developing the EPBCS Planning Forms, Scripts and Business Rules -Technical background with hands-on experience in Oracle EPM planning, and Essbase BSO/ASO Cube build using EPBCS -Knowledge of EPBCS out-of-box cubes, experience with configuration, design, and testing of custom objects/interfaces -Technical background with hands-on experience on EPBCS data management and EPM Automate to build metadata and data load -Must be well organized, able to juggle multiple tasks, work independently, and actively manage the small team to get the deliverable done on time -General understanding of agile methodologies -Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal -General understanding of Oracle Cloud ERP is a plus, but not required
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience
Travel up to 20% annually (While 20% of travel is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice.)
Experience implementing other Oracle EPM technologies: Account reconciliation cloud services (ARCS), Enterprise Performance Reporting Cloud Services (EPRCS), Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service (PBCS), Hyperion Planning, Hyperion Profitability and Cost Management (HPCM), etc.
Deep Knowledge of FDMEE, HFR, Data Management, EPRCS, will be an advantage
Understanding of currency translations, inter-company eliminations, and consolidation accounting under various GAAPs
Strong functional knowledge around financial systems and processes
Should have experience in end to end implementations in Hyperion System 11.x or 2-3 implementations of FCCS solution
Should be involved in the Design, Implementation, Prototyping, Enhancements and Performance tuning of HFM and FDMEE applications
Industry expertise in domains like Media and Entertainment, Consumer and Industrial Products, Banking, etc.
Deep understanding of the metadata, dimensions and their attributes along with the interdimensional relationships
Proficiency in creation of member formulas and any customizations in FCCS
Experience in provisioning users and should be well-versed in the user roles
Proficiency in creation of Business Rules - Custom consolidations, Intercompany eliminations,
automating Cash Flow, Custom Translations and Currency Overrides, Dynamic calculations
Proficient in building integration artifacts in FDMEE like locations, maps, custom/import scripts
and handling any file-related automations
Deep understanding of functional aspects of Income Statement, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow
Should have experience of conducting User Acceptance Test, and preparing deliverables such as design documents, test documentation, training materials and administration/procedural guides
Should have working knowledge of EPM Automate and be able to build scripts to automate various admin activities using EPM Automate
Preferably have experience with automation and scheduling tools
Ability to train internal staff of the advanced Hyperion Financial Management/Oracle FCCS and
Integration tools in the EPM suite of products
Committed to gaining exposure to multiple industries and technologies
Adept at implementing technology-enabled solutions to address business requirements for clients as part of a high-talent team
Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint)
Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment
