Wesleyan’s Information Technology Services (ITS) is agile, energetic, and collaborative with strong support for professional development and staff creativity. Enterprise Systems, an integral part of ITS, supports the University’s PeopleSoft Systems, Financial Aid, Admission, Advancement, WesPortal, and other systems.
In the next two years, Wesleyan will be implementing a new SaaS ERP. This position will play a key role on the campus-wide team that assesses, chooses, and implements Wesleyan’s future ERP. Workday and Oracle are the current leading candidates.
Reporting to the Senior Director of Enterprise Systems, the Programmer Analyst is responsible for supporting, enhancing, and updating the PeopleSoft Finance and Payroll, and Workforce Time Systems.
The Programmer Analyst will work in close collaboration with the Finance and Payroll, and to a lesser extent with Human Resources (HR) and Benefits.
Maintain clear lines of responsibility, priority, and understanding with Finance and HR offices.
Take a direct role in working with outside vendors including software consultants, software companies such as PeopleSoft, PeopleAdmin and Workforce Time, and service providers such as Mastercard, ADP, and TIAA.
Provide support for all aspects of HR and Financial Systems including understanding of functional business processes, requirements gathering, design, implementation, testing requirements, mentoring, troubleshooting, and production.
Work with Human Resources, Financial Departments, and ITS colleagues to manage system upgrades, configuration, and customization of PeopleSoft applications, subsystems, and interfaces.
Maintain internal interfaces including integration between Wesleyan’s three PeopleSoft modules, Workforce Time, OneSource, and the WesPortal.
Maintain external interfaces including Bank of America, MasterCard, ADP, Cigna Health, Benefit Strategies, Fidelity, and TIAA.
Manage Sub-Systems including Compensation Management, and the Endowment Subsidiary Systems.
Other duties as assigned.

Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of five years of related work experience (or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience). Experience in:
ERP implementation and support.
PeopleTools core technologies.
Modern Integration Techniques including API
