Join the Information Technologies team at The College of St. Scholastica as an Enterprise Applications Developer/Programmer – Banner ERP/SIS. This role conducts analysis, design, programming, testing, documenting, production migration, maintenance, and support of applications and solutions for academic and administrative departments. You will primarily focus on Banner modules including Student, Financial Aid, HR/Payroll and Finance.
The Information Technology (IT) department at St. Scholastica strives to provide innovative solutions and reliable technology to the College community. IT seeks to enable enhanced teaching and learning in support of students, faculty, and staff; while also providing a robust and reliable infrastructure that supports efficient business operations.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Associates Degree (AA) in information technology, or a related field and experience in or knowledge of Banner or equivalent relational database environment; OR an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
CORE COMPETENCIES: - Demonstrated competency in selecting tools, methods, and techniques to obtain results; technically astute with the ability to troubleshoot complex applications with multiple integrations. - Demonstrated working knowledge of an ERP such as Banner, PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Reports, and Linux scripting. - Well versed in multiple programming languages and proficient in structuring and developing software code. - Familiarity with new and emerging technologies. - Excellent in building strong partnerships and delivering the best possible outcomes to stakeholders. - A focus on communication and teamwork, as well as the ability to successfully deliver on a wide variety of technical challenges and tasks. - A relentless self-learner who thrives in a highly dynamic environment. - Functional and technical design and configuration experience, preferably with some combination of the following Banner modules: Banner Accounts Receivables, Financial Aid, Student, Finance, HR/Payroll and General. - Demonstrated ability to communicate technical information to technical and non-technical personnel at various levels in the organization. Interpersonal and communications skills to work with business. - Demonstrated success working with diverse populations.
