Work you'll do
As a Consultant within our Finance & Enterprise Performance team you will:
Work with customers to implement enterprise solutions primarily for the Office of the CFO
Develop new objects to automate or enhance functionality
Prepare technical design specifications
Communicate with other team members and clients to support user acceptance testing
Analyze business requirements to determine appropriate technical solutions
Resolve defects and performance issues; completing technical reviews, supporting code migration, and create technical documentation as required
Assist with creation of work plans, level of effort estimates, and release schedules
Improve business processes around budget formulation, budget execution, financial reporting and analysis
Participate in application development lifecycle to include process redesign, system design, Agile development, data integration, training and ongoing support to customer personnel
Identify opportunities for efficiencies in work process and innovative approaches to completing scope of work
Participate in team problem solving efforts and offer ideas to solve client issues
Provide financial analysis/Budget formulation to large data sets
Conduct relevant research, data analysis, and create reports
Maintain responsibility for completion and accuracy of work products
Actively expand consulting skills and professional development through training courses, mentoring, and daily interaction with clients

Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, finance or other business-related field
U.S. Citizenship required
DoD Secret Clearance or higher required
3+ years of relevant federal consulting or industry experience in financial analysis, transformation or strategic initiatives
Hands on experience with Java and C++
Travel up to 25% (While 25% of travel is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice
Experience in assessing federal financial business processes, developing Momentum based system options, and/or implementation in all aspects of programming, planning, budgeting, execution and/or accounting
Demonstrated experience in Momentum software development activities to support one or more Momentum financial modules
Experience with BI Publisher reporting
CompTIA Security+ certification
