Assists the OCM Lead in assessing and validating the scope and impact of the required change by utilizing a clear methodology and reviewing the holistic scope of this transformation project across the impacted technology and business areas. This includes understanding the depth of business process change, potential issues with technology adoption and degree of effort required to drive faster adoption, higher ultimate utilization of and proficiency with the changes that impact employees.
Executes Integrated Change Management Strategy and Plan by validating work completed to date, socializing and executing against clear change management strategy and planning that maximizes employee adoption and usage and minimizes resistance.
Interprets University initiatives to create plans detailing the design, installation, modification, and operation of information systems.
Evaluates vendor proposals for the purchase of hardware, software, and technical services to ensure adherence to technical specifications.
Performs other related work as needed.
Bachelorâ™s degree in a related field.
Minimum seven years of progressively responsible professional experience.
Minimum five years of change management, consulting, customer service, sales, or higher education operations experience.
Skilled at managing multiple stakeholder groups, including executive leadership.
communicating via all channels, including large audience presentations.
Involved in providing change management for transformation projects involving a wide range of business units.
Working knowledge managing direct reports and supporting the management of staff who are not direct reports.
Employment history in higher education with administrative systems, data and business processes.
Expertise with large-scale organizational change efforts.
Technical Skills or Knowledge:
Background with technology implementation, process changes, or financial operations at an R1 research university.
Familiarity with Project Management Institute's (PMI) Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK), IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) and the DIR Project Delivery Framework, and the Prosci ADKAR change management model.
Solid understanding of how people go through change and experience of change management principles, methodology and tools.
Work with Finance/Accounting and IT professionals.
Knowledge of developing best practices training strategy.
Excellent written and verbal communications as well as active listening skills.
Establish and maintain strong relationships across a variety of levels in an organization.
Influence others and move toward a common goal.
