This position can either be virtual (remote) or located in our corporate headquarters in Arden Hills, MN
Under general direction, has primary responsibility for the implementation and maintenance of complex databases. Ensures data recovery, maintenance, data integrity, and space requirements for physical databases are met through formulations and monitoring of policies, procedures, tools, trends analysis and standards relating to database management. Actively participate as a part of matrixed product development team providing advice on design and tuning of database objects, queries and overall data architecture to ensure that the associated hardware resources are allocated to the databases and to ensure high availability and optimum performance.

BA/BS preferably in computer science, management information systems, data processing or closely related field and 5+ years experience Oracle DBA or Associate’s degree and 7+ years of Oracle DBA experience.
Expert knowledge and 5+ years of Database Administration experience with Oracle v126.96.36.199, Oracle v12.1, Oracle 19c, including database upgrades and patching
Installation and maintenance experience with Data Guard for database high availability
Oracle ASM, RAC
Oracle Partitioning, Compression
Strong, demonstrated skills in database performance tuning and resolving database performance issues
Experience supporting multiple project development teams and numerous database environments throughout the application development life cycle
Excellent collaboration skills with a proven track record in working with other areas of Information Technology to evaluate, plan and implement database solutions
Excellent communication skills - verbal, written, presentation. Ability to communicate well at all levels of the IT organization
Strong ability to determine database capacity, current and trends
Ability to bring concepts to reality
Strong organizational and problem solving skills, attention to detail
Work experience with Oracle Exadata Systems
Work experience with Oracle Data Guard
Work experience with Oracle GoldenGate
Oracle Enterprise Manager 12c
RMAN backup and recovery
Excellent UNIX/LINUX skills
Experience using either Perl or Shell Scripting languages
$82,560-123,840 - Salary will be based on experience
