The position has oversight over IIE’s PeopleSoft Enterprise Resource Planning application and manages the daily operations of the Peoplesoft technical resources (internal and external) to support the platform. The leadership role works closely with business and technology resources to understand business requirements, architect solutions, execute proper change control and coordinate user acceptance testing for both HCM and FSCM modules. The position oversees all Peoplesoft systems upgrades, implementations, and enhancements to meet business needs and works with key internal stakeholders and vendors to deliver organizational results.
Responsible for leading and directing the implementation of Peoplesoft solutions and all future enhancements and updates that impact financial and HR processes, configuring them to fit within the overall IIE systems construct and execute them using proper change control processes.
Manage internal and vendor team/s to ensure various organizational and stakeholder requirements are met.
Provide consultation and counsel to key stakeholders and lead Peoplesoft initiatives to meet business needs.
Partner with the IT, Business Systems and Project Management Office teams to collaborate on oversight for enterprise level applications upgrades and implementations.
Forecast and manage the budget for the department and ensure that any expenditures are within the budget.
Accountable for leading change management strategies and efforts to ensure successful change implementations tied to business results.
Assist in setting up proper role based security and the user administration process, and ensures team members are providing the correct levels of access and mitigating any segregation of duties conflicts.
Communicates effectively with system users to resolve issues and address concerns.
Education and Work Experience:
Requires a Bachelor's degree in order to apply a working knowledge of the theories and principles in a specialized field or work discipline.
Requires at least ten years of related work experience.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
Requires 10 to 15 years’ of related work experience with at least 5 years of project management experience required.
PMP certification, preferred.
Knowledge of large ERP implementations preferred.
Expert knowledge of PeopleSoft FSCM, HCM, Grants and Contracts modules, required.
Good understanding of financial processes.
Knowledge of higher education a plus.
Strong presentation skills and ability to manage expectations, ability to gain consensus.
