Analyzes existing or new business model & provides solutions by fine-tune existing systems or implement new computer systems. Ensures smooth production run of application systems and assists user to fully utilize the systems. - Supervises teammates to deliver the most efficient and cost-effective IT solutions.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Project Management, Application Development and Implementation
Manages a team of local and offshore resources to overview project/product development in order to deliver successful system implementation on time
Works with assigned Business Units and users to understand/review/integrate user requirements and to propose IT solutions
Measures and monitors progress at clearly defined points in the process to ensure that the project is delivered on time, within budget, and that it meets or exceeds expectations. Balance scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risks. Make adjustments as necessary.
Provides continuous improvement for existing systems and streamlines software development process to control software integrity
Review and maintain all technical documents periodically to comply with group standard.
Manages vendors to meet project timelines and quality of the delivery
Participates in quality management reviews
Ensures smooth production run of application systems
Uplifting of Pension Applications
Analyze current technologies used within the company and determine ways to improve
Work collaboratively with enterprise architect, technology risk, infrastructure department to understand the application solution standard and security requirement.
Lead the system development to retire Pension legacy applications and develop new Pension administration system which follow the application architecture and design pattern approved by EA and meet the TR requirement in the security consideration.
Uplift application team overall technical capability, by provide regular lunch and learn sessions with application teams
Performs other responsibilities and duties assigned by immediate manager in order to meet business requirements
You are required to obtain relevant license if your job involves in regulated activities
Minimum Job Requirements:
University Degree in Computer Science, Information System or related disciplines.
With at least 10 years working experience on implementing large scale application
Strong technical foundation and knowledge in VB.Net, MS SQL Server, Sybase , Crystal Report , MS Windows Platform, Linux and Unix.
Experience in project and vendor management liaison.
Strong analytical skill and able to manage multiple tasks within tight timeline
Organized, self-motivated, enthusiastic and proven rapid learning capability.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
