This Senior Financial Business Systems Analyst (PeopleSoft) will be responsible for:
Under the guidance of leadership & Lead Financial Business Systems Analyst, assisting with daily operations, development admin & maintenance of hospital's financial information & reporting systems. Working closely with Finance Leadership, analysts, solution architects and developers to support the implementation of Finance Department goals and initiatives.
Using knowledge of PC software products, mainframe financial systems, downloads, and other databases to design workable models. Managing & maintaining the financial information systems database including chart of accounts & support system upgrades and modifications. Providing direction to finance staff on systems processes, data flow, controls and interfaces for financial information systems.
Serving as liaison with Information Systems Department (ISD) & various technology vendors on an as needed basis. Identifying performance improvement/system tuning opportunities. Developing & providing end-user training.
Identifying & assessing functionality to address customer pain points & support various Business process improvement initiatives. Involved in all aspects of the software development lifecycle (SDLC). Responsible for gathering and documentation of functional requirements, application design, piloting, build support, test plan/script development and execution, assistance and at times leading of deployment plans as well as end-user training.
Acting as Project Lead responsible for creating & maintaining project documentation and tracking mechanisms such as: project plans, meeting minutes, risks, action items, issues and key business decisions.
To qualify, you must have:
A Bachelor's Degree in Business / Information Technology or related field required and 5 years of experience in relative field.
PeopleSoft implementation and administration experience preferred.
Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office - Excel, Word and financial systems.
Analytical skills to collect information from diverse sources, apply professional principles in performing various analyses and summarize the information and data.
