Design, enhancement, for enterprise applications supporting trading and client services
Perform implementation, maintenance, remediation, and troubleshooting services for enterprise applications supporting trading and client services
Develop standards and deployment methodologies
Propose, design, and implement enhancements and additions to current environment
Develop application maintenance standards and procedures
Assist in the growth and strategic planning across data management solutions
Assist in managing continuous improvement of engineering, delivery, and operational practices
Assist in developing engineering and operational service metrics with actionable plans to improve operational efficiency, enhance service quality/SLA, and optimize delivery
Skills & Experience Required: - Demonstrates a strong understanding product lifecycles as well as how technical systems work and interact - Strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of all critical Production Support processes
Knowledge Required: - Engineering and administration background building and supporting two or more of the following database platforms Oracle (11g -> 19c), Microsoft SQL Server Windows 2014-2019 or Sybase ASE 12-16 - Exposure to SQL Server on Linux 2017-2019 desirable - Implementation experience of Copy Data Management (CDM) technology i.e. Delphix - Core competency in performance tuning and analysis - Operating system fundamentals - tuning and monitoring of IO, Networks, CPU and Memory - Programming experience of either Perl, Python or Java desirable
