Performs duties necessary to plan, organize, and develop custom views in data warehouse; negotiate and liaise with stakeholders about planning, designing the technical aspects of the project; provide technical expertise to the project in areas such as programming, testing, quality control, implementation and the post implementation review. As a member of the Information System Analytics & Data Governance team, this position is responsible for gathering requirements and designing and developing solutions that support the College's Analytic and Data Governance initiatives, providing end user and campus report writing support, and providing administrative support for the Enterprise Analytic tools.
Bachelor’s degree with 3-5 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience in Higher Education with data and business processes strongly preferred. Ellucian/SunGard Higher Education. Banner experience preferred.
Experience with Ellucian Banner student information system
Experience with Linux/Unix commands and operating system
Programming experience working in an Oracle UNIXERP environment including PL/SQL, SQR, scripting and stored procedures, functions, packages, triggers, views.
A working knowledge of other programming languages, relational database technology, and networking is required.
Demonstrated analysis and problem solving skills
Excellent communication skills
Strong organizational, interpersonal, writing and speaking skills and the ability to communicate effectively within the college environment are required.
