Position Summary: Come join our dynamic team of highly skilled Oracle / PeopleSoft professionals as we build, implement and support one of the largest PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 implementations hosted at Oracle Managed Cloud Services. The UC Office of the President is actively seeking a PeopleSoft InFlight Portal Administrator to support this critical project with enterprise-wide impact across all the campuses / medical centers and the Office of the President at all levels. Here you will have the ability to make a difference and have a real influence in how we can best manage and support this large implementation.
We are looking for a strong self starter who is passionate about supporting Peoplesoft HCM environments and has proven experience with PeopleSoft portal and Inflight Portal integration. Ideal candidate has excellent technical and problem solving skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Core responsibilities include management and support of the Peoplesoft Employee Portal, Integration with InFlight and Single Sign On and PeopleSoft HCM and their corresponding components (Candidate Gateway, Talent Acquisition and Management, Integration Broker, etc) that support our large end-user population across multiple organizational units with high consequences of success or failure.

Travel is required. This position can be located in our Oakland office or the UCPath Canter in Riverside.

Job Close Date:
Plan, coordinate, and administer the Oracle HCM Production, testing, and development environments and associated software components.
Work closely with the UCPath center and other functional teams to configure, stage, and upgrade Oracle software components with minimal impact to users.
Provide daily operational support and resolution to production issues with UCPath HCM applications including but not limited to (Peoplesoft HCM, Absent Management, TAM, CG, IB, Talemetry, etc.
Work closely with external software vendors (OMCS) and internal development teams to resolve technical problems between all software components of the UCPath Portal (Single- SignOn), associated PS modules and Peoplesoft HCM.
Work closely with other support teams (network, storage, platform, etc) to troubleshoot hardware performance issues and pinpoint bottlenecks in the software deployment. Collaborate and communicate on resolution and configure environments as needed to address performance issues.
Job Requirements Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent combination of education and experience.
At least 5 years experience supporting PeopleSoft HCM with a focus on Portal integration and Single Sign On.
At least 5 years of experience with Apache/IHS/IIS web server administration. Required
Knowledge/Skills: Demonstrated expertise with trouble shooting Peoplesoft applications on Unix/Windows systems. Demonstrated understanding of Single Sign On and Portal integration.
Demonstrated strong analytic and problem solving skills.
Ability to write technical documentation in a clear and concise manner.
Advanced communication skills to effectively convey and explain technical information and the ability to influence and persuade.
Demonstrated ability to plan assignments and monitor performance according to priorities as demonstrated by regularly meeting established deadlines.
Demonstrated ability to perform competently under pressure, handling interruptions and changes without losing productivity.
Must be able to provide 24x7 on call support as assigned.
Advanced knowledge of computer security best practices and policies including demonstrated experience securing most complex server-based software.
Experience and knowledge with PeopleSoft Candidate Gateway, Elastic Search, Talemetry and Intregration Broker. Required
