Our Client, a leading North American supplier of specialty manufactured components, is currently seeking qualified candidates for a long-term Oracle Analyst position in their Western PA headquarters. The focus of this role will be split between new development work, enhancement projects, and ongoing maintenance of over 30 applications. The ideal candidate will have a moderate to advanced level of proficiency with PL/SQL and be able to translate business requirements into designs and implemented solutions.

Provide in-depth technical expertise for custom Oracle based IT.
Conceptually convert business requirements into IT solutions.
Provide day to day support of IT applications within the business unit.
Participate as a team member in replacing all custom applications with standard ERP suite.
Provide off hours support of IT applications within assigned business function, as needed.
Interact with business users for training, problem solving and automation of business processes.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
7+ years of hands-on experience with systems development and support
Expertise using Oracle PL/SQL Stored Procedures and Oracle 10g/11
Proficiency or familiarity with PRO*C, SQL Plus, SQL Loader, SQL Navigator or Toad
Experience with Linux
UNIX Korn Shell Scripting
Prefer hands on experience with scheduling software such as Control-M, Cron etc.
Familiarity with windows Oracle Environment would be desired but not required
Knowledge of supply chain and warehouse management systems would be a plus
