This position will be the technical owner of Rho's Oracle Siebel CTMS (Clinical Trial Management System) and CDA (Clinical Development Analytics) applications. This role will act as the single point of contact for the technical direction, needs, and issues related to Rho's CTMS and CDA configured platforms. This position will work closely with the CTMS Business Owner and also advice other business leaders and various technical staff on the complexity, cost, and effort required for initiatives related to Oracle CTMS/CDA.
The ideal candidate must have demonstrated leadership skills, experience communicating with senior level staff concerning initiatives, gaps, and risks and the ability to translate between business leaders, end users, and technical staff. This role will influence and engage Rho and Oracle technical staff as part of addressing Rho's technical needs and problems. In depth knowledge of and experience project managing technology initiatives is essential, as are strong empathetic listening skills combined with excellent verbal and written communication skills. This position will contribute to the overall effectiveness and evolution of Rho's usage of CTMS and CDA.
Assess, coordinate, and manage software releases for both cloud (hosted) and on premise components, including managing release schedules and security requirements and ensuring successful execution of new releases in conjunction with validation specialists
Collaborate with Rho CTMS Analysts to incorporate process changes in alignment with system changes, including managing a short and long-term technology roadmap for CTMS/CDA and their impact on Rho legacy systems usage
Manage licensure issues, recommend agreement updates, and oversee the technical aspect of vendor negotiations related to Oracle CTMS and CDA usage
Engage Oracle and Rho technology team members to troubleshoot system and/or integration issues
Perform project management, as needed, for technology projects related to Oracle CTMS and CDA usage, including managing new integrations and integration changes with existing legacy systems
Collaborate with Rho CTMS Analysts to communicate Oracle CTMS/CDA and associated legacy system needs by submitting proposals to senior management for approval as well as working with Technology leadership to ensure projects have assigned resources that are prioritized to align with these needs
Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) and 3+ years of related experience and/or training
Experience with Oracle Siebel CTMS application is required and CDA experience is preferred
Technical background, acumen, and interest in areas of data identification, extraction, loading, and transfer, database design, and integrations via API's
Technology project management and software vendor engagement experience
A working knowledge of 21 CFR Part 11 including experience delivering technology in a clinical research environment is a plus
