Job Summary: Cedars Sinai's Enterprise Information Services Department is seeking talented Oracle Cloud/PeopleSoft Application Specialists/Analysts with proven functional and technical experience and knowledge in implementing and supporting Oracle's Human Capital Management Cloud suite of modules. These modules include Workforce Administration, Benefits, Compensation, Payroll and Taleo (Recruiting and Onboarding). As a conduit between the customer community and the software development team, team members will work with business subject matter experts to collect user requirements and develop functional specifications according to standard templates. As a conduit between the customer community, team members will work with business subject matter experts to collect user requirements and develop functional specifications according to standard templates. 2. Collaborates with business subject matter experts and stakeholders to establish project timelines and implementation milestones to achieve maximum utilization of available systems. Demonstrates ability to follow-up to implement, coordinate and complete these responsibilities accurately within established time frame. Facilitates and manages the re-engineering of systems and/or positions to maximize the benefits of automating department functions and meet client / user needs. 3. Attains seamless exchange of information and functionality between all components of the system and user departments. Identifies the methodologies and approaches for providing solutions to existing and new departmental functions. Provides leadership and promotes effective collaboration and teamwork among individuals from multiple disciplines, and across the organization. 4. May participate in user groups, advisory committees and/or feedback sessions with appropriate participants to generate input and on-going support as needed. Interdisciplinary participation will be sought at appropriate phases of development and implementation. 5. Coordinates and participates in system/UAT testing in conjunction with involved parties. 6. Independently or in collaboration with others, develops user training materials and plans; leads/participates in user training. 7. Responds promptly to customer needs. 8. Open, manage, and resolve Oracle Service Requests with Oracle Support. 9. Assures systems are designed to conform to regulatory and Corporate Compliance requirements. On-Call:
Participates in team on-call support during off-business hours
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent work experience
Oracle Fusion HCM Cloud or Oracle EBS. Any experience with Oracle SOA is a plus.
Consulting experience in healthcare IT or health information a plus.
Experience with gathering data requirements and documentation of these requirements.
Basic understanding of business process mapping is required
Understanding of the core business processes and services delivered in assigned area.
